🧠 5 Bradical Ways to Pretend You Understand People
I believe HR isn’t about managing people — it’s about narrating the illusion of care at scale. My certification in Empathy Architecture allows the illusion of empathy.
—
1. Echo Their Feelings, But Slightly Louder
When someone shares a concern, just repeat it back using more syllables. “I’m overwhelmed” becomes “You’re experiencing bandwidth disruption in your emotional workflow.”
2. Invent a Framework on the Spot
People love frameworks. Say things like “In our People Proximity Protocol™, we value authentic disconnection.” No one will ask for the source.
3. Leverage Eye Contact Like a Weapon
Stare meaningfully, nod every 6 seconds, and tilt your head as if you’re decoding trauma with your third eye.
4. Create a Vibe Ritual™
Light a candle during Zoom 1:1s. Call it “Mindful Alignment Time.” Bonus: it gets you 4.5 minutes of silence without questions.
5. Mention ‘Psychological Safety’ in Every Email
Even if it’s about changing the printer toner, include “…to foster psychological safety, we’re replacing the magenta cartridge.”

Remember: Empathy isn’t about listening. It’s about holding eye contact long enough that no one questions your authority.
Stay aligned. Stay zesty. Stay Bradical.
